As reported in Refinery 29, the poll by Firehouse Strategies and Optimus found the three battleground states of in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin all preferred the President’s eldest daughter to the man himself. Ms Trump scored +1 in Michigan, +3 in Pennsylvania and -4 in Wisconsin, Mr Trump scored -5, -3 and -7 respectively. President Trump launched his reelection bid in Orlando on Monday, updating his slogan to “Keep America Great”.

Ms Trump, the second child to Mr Trump and his first wife Ivana Trump is a senior adviser to her father.

She was viewed by Mr Trump’s opponents as a potential “moderating force” to some of the more extreme ideas that the POTUS came up with.

An internal poll leaked to the New York Times had shown Mr Trump would lose to Joe Biden, running for the Democratic nomination in all three states.

The poll that showed Ms Trump outperforming Mr Trump was conducted earlier this month and spoke to 1687 voters.

A book published earlier this year about Ms Trump’s marriage to Jared Kushner called “Kushner, Inc.: Greed. Ambition. Corruption. The Extraordinary Story of Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump” by Vicky Ford suggested the businesswomen has plans for her own run at The White House one day.

Ms Ford spoke to former White House economic advisor Gary Cohn, who said: “She thinks she’s going to be president of the United States.

“She thinks this is like the Kennedys, the Bushes, and now the Trumps.”

Two presidential children, John Quincy Adams and George W Bush have gone onto become POTUS.

John Scott Harrison, the son of 9th POTUS William Henry Harrison fathered 23rd POTUS Benjamin Harrison.

Ms Trump is one of two Trump daughters.

The other, Tiffany Trump was born to Mr Trump and his second wife Marla Maples.

The younger Trump daughter was raised by Ms Maples and is less involved in politics than her elder half-sister but is a Republican member and attended the campaign launch in Orlando.
