PARIS, France – Rafael Nadal might have won a record-extending 12th French Open title on the weekend, but he remains well behind Novak Djokovic in the ATP rankings released Monday, June 10.

Austrian Dominic Thiem, whom Nadal beat in the Roland Garros final, keeps his 4th place behind Swiss Roger Federer, who went down to the Spaniard in the last 4 on his first appearance in Paris since 2015.

Russian Karen Khachanov jumped two spots into a personal best of 9th thanks to his achievement in reaching the French Open quarterfinals.

Italian Fabio Fognini, also a quarterfinalist at Roland Garros and winner in Monte Carlo in April, also moved up two places to 10th.

The biggest mover in the top 20 was Swiss Stan Wawrinka, whose quarterfinal defeat by Federer in Paris was enough to see him go up 9 places into 19th.
