Allen’s bout with Lucas Browne and Chisora’s clash with Senad Gashi are both the main events in the capital.

There are no titles on the line in those match-ups though the winners of both will put themselves in the mix for future heavyweight world championship fights.

Dereck Chisora lost on his last visit to the O2, beaten by Dillian Whyte in December.

But the Londoner is hoping to get the winning feeling back tonight.

“The O2 brings lots of great memories and disappointments but it’s part of boxing,” he said.

“One minute you’re jumping up on the ropes, the next minute laying under the ropes.

“This fight for me is a great fight for me, I’m excited for this fight, I’m looking forward to this fight. New coach, new skills, it’s going to be amazing.

“I’m motivated, I don’t travel three hours on the train, every four days because I’m not motivated.

“I want to fight, I love fighting and if he comes to fight we’ll fight. I don’t care, whatever he wants to do, we’ll do.

“Big fights are available. I think you’ve got the big four at the top but really and truly, the big four at the top don’t want to fight each other, so what can you say, us at the bottom of the scrap will just take them.”

LIVE results

Sam Hyde BEATS Jozef Jurko – TKO, round 1

Sam Cox BEATS Georgi Georgiev – points, 40-37

John Harding Jr BEATS Miroslav Juna – points, 60-54

Shannon Courtenay BEATS Roz Mari Silyanova – points 40-36

Easy enough for Courtenay but she doesn’t look pleased with her performance. Couldn’t find that knockout blow and was taken the distance.

Nikita Ababiy BEATS Dimitri Faltin – TKO, round 2

The American has too much power. Sends Faitlin down with a powerful right and the referee decides that’s it!

Conor Benn BEATS Josef Zahradnik – points, 80-71

Benn controls most of the bout and puts Zahradnik down in the seventh with a powerful body shot. He can’t finish it inside the distance but is given the decision.

Joe Cordina BEATS Andy Townend – TKO, round 6

Cordina breaks down Townend, who kept trying to get up. The referee waves it off at the end of the sixth.

Josh Kelly BEATS Przemyslaw Runowski – UD: 100-88, 100-88, 100-89

Classy from Kelly. Puts Runowski down early on before repeating the feat in the ninth and the final round. The Pole is brave and hangs in there through to the final bell. It was never in doubt.
